Job Description: Systems Analyst

Your opportunity:

The Systems Analyst performs several functions, including day-to-day operations, support, estimating, designing and implementing enhancements to those applications, new deployments, integrations, and system environment upgrades. As a Systems Analyst, you will work with other Systems Analysts, Business Systems Analysts, and business clients to deliver fit-for-purpose applications and exceptional support.

This position is based in Fremont California.

How will you make your mark?

• Provide hands-on Hardware and software support as part of daily operations, this includes service monitoring, configuration, user administration, reporting, and optimization
• Follow ITIL processes to work on User requests
• Have a deep knowledge of hardware such as workstations, servers, and laptops
• You will be working with different clients to make solutions according to there needs
• Strong understanding of SCCM for image deployment and software distribution
• Identification of root cause analysis and resolution of incidents reported by monitoring systems and end users
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by facilitating information sharing and team cooperation
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as required to address critical incidents
• Estimate, Design and Implement solutions based on gathered requirements
• Actively research and develop solutions to establish the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability to ensure the exceptional guest experience for our end users and guest.
• Liaise with vendors (Dell, Microsoft, VMWare, McAfee, Symantec) and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Deliver exceptional guest experience to end users through active listening, problem-solving to diagnose, the root cause of the issue and time service delivery and follow-up.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications

• A post-secondary degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field of study
• Typically 5+ years’ experience as a Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst or similar
• Experience developing solutions for a large number of users with various requirements
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excel at multi-tasking and working under pressure

Experience with the following is ideal, however not required:

• Candidate with the following certification will get preference ITIL, MCSA, MCITP, CCNA, Windows 10
• Vendor certification for warranty repairs such as HP, Dell, and Lenovo
• Experience in Inventory tracking software
• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting workstation and server environments
• Experience with virtualization, active directory/exchange management, storage, and backups
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
